40 years ago Utah rock band Moe Low guitarist Matt Rushton began his onstage career. He had a number of good friends back in those days who shared his love for music and live performance. One of those people was fellow musician Brent Thomas Mills. Matt and Brent played together in performing groups at Pleasant Grove High school. It was a great time and a lot of fun!
For the first time since high school, Matt and Brent are once again sharing the stage. And wouldn’t you know it, that stage will be at good old Pleasant Grove High School! They will be uniting with fellow Pleasant Grove High alumni Benjamin Nichols. Ben is well known around the world for his saxophone playing and direction of BYU’s premier Jazz band – Synthesis.
This evening is brought to you by the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and honors the memory of Mark Clements, a beloved son, brother, and Pleasant Grove High School alum. Mark was the visionary for this Foundation – his aim was to ensure no one faced the disease alone and without resources.
This will be in a setting unlike any other that you’ve seen Matt Rushton perform. All proceeds will be going to charity. A wonderful time is guaranteed for all.
Make sure to join Matt and friends on September 20, 2025 at Pleasant Grove High School. To purchase tickets, please click this link for more info and to purchase tickets: An Interactive Candlelight Concert Benefitting the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation
